As a group we had decided to incorporate a series of portrait shots. We wanted to do this to capsulate that many people might be going through the same situation as the protagonist (Lucy's character) This also allow the audience to instantly become more related to the music video. We chose to shoot people of a similar age range (17-19). This is not to say that people of other age ranges do not go through the struggle of falling out of love but as a group we feel that are target audience would be around 17-19 allowing our specific audience to be relatable.
We did not want to be boring so we decided to use an app called 'Fyuse' this allowed us to create a 180 degree angle of the person, this was then created into a short video and placed into our music video. I will expand on the 'Fyuse' app in a later blog post. For now here are some still snippets from the portrait shots.
